Program Breakdown
Career Enhancing workshops
Beauty Links is dedicated to helping individuals champion their employment barriers. As a result, life skills workshops play an important role in this program.
Technical Training
Expert-led, entry-level training in esthetics or hair is another component of this program. Participants declare their specialization at the beginning of the program. Participants who select esthetics will be trained in Manicures and Pedicures. Participants who choose hair will be trained to shampoo and blow-dry hair.
NOTE: Technical training is dependent on the successful completion of all career enhancing workshops.
Paid Work Experience
Imagine stepping into the world of beauty through a paid work experience! Participants get hands-on training while building real-world experience alongside industry experts. From mastering your newly learned skills to understanding salon/spa culture, every day is a chance to grow your confidence and creativity. Plus, you’ll earn while you learn—making it the perfect blend of fun, education, and future career building!
NOTE: A paid work experience is dependent on the successful completion of volunteer hours.
