esthetics credentials transfer

Looking to see how your esthetics credentials transfer over?

International Esthetics Qualifications Assessment (IEQA) helps estheticians obtain recognition for training acquired abroad. IEQA assesses international educational credentials in esthetics and medical esthetics and compares them to Canadian spa industry standards. IEQAs is designed to increase access and entry to Alberta’s beauty industry by confirming that your technical skills and theory knowledge meets Canadian standards. We do this by comparing
  • Your academic documents to Canadian Spa Industry Standards, and by
  • Assessing your technical skills through a variety of exercises and exams
For an International Esthetics Qualifications Assessment you must have the original (or certified copy) of your certificates and all supporting documents such as academic transcripts/mark sheets. All documents are reviewed for consistency. Executive Spa Group may contact the issuing trainer directly to verify any inconsistencies in documents. IEQA’s mission is to provide a fair and credible skills assessment service that recognizes beauty industry skills achieved in countries outside of Canada. Assessments are completed on an individual basis and include a review process and thorough quality assurance measures. Contact Executive Spa Group for assessment fees and more information.
